1. Affiliations - now editable in RevMan Web
As noted in an email to all MEs, sent on 20 July, affiliations have now moved out of Archie into RevMan Web. This will make it simpler for both authors and editors to add and edit affiliations. Affiliations can be added and edited directly in the Review Information > Authors section on the review dashboard in RevMan Web. Find out more in the RevMan Web Knowledge Base. All authors who have logged into RevMan within the last 6 months were also notified by email when the changes were released to live on Monday 26 July. Please contact Support with any queries.

2. Updating people's details in Archie and Editorial Manager
Changes made to author names and emails in Archie do not currently carry over to Editorial Manager. EM displays a notification on the Update My Information screen to alert people to this. If authors' or reviewers' details change, please encourage people to update their own information on the Update My Information screen in EM and in their Cochrane Account profile. This is good practice for data protection (everyone can view and edit their own information). It is not essential to add any further personal details other than title, name and email within Editorial Manager. Cochrane Support can amend authors' primary emails on request (for instance, if you need to re-send an email within EM to the author's new address). Find out more in the Editorial Manager Knowledge Base. We are working with Editorial Manager technical support to improve sharing of important contact details between Cochrane systems and EM. We will update you with any changes to current configurations.

3. EMS Community Liaison: July update
We have been busy providing one-to-one support to all the CRGs moving to Editorial Manager, and it has been lovely to see all of you since we haven’t met in person for such a long time. Anne-Marie recently left the CLO team to increase her commitment to the Central Editorial Service, and we are thankful to Anne-Marie for all her hard work on EM. Here are our EM Top Tips for July: 1. It’s easy to ‘proxy’ as another person, in any role: find them using ‘Search People’ from the Editorial tab Main Menu and click on the relevant role highlighted in yellow. To stop proxying, simply click ‘Logout’. 2. You can update the submission deadline and the system will automatically send an email to the lead author: go to the Proposal Menu tab, Pending proposals, and select ‘Details’ in the Action links column of the relevant title; scroll down to ‘Author(s) Invited to Respond to Proposal’, adjust the date as required, and the author will receive confirmation of the new date. Any correspondence about this change to due date (external to EM, such as emails from the authors) can be added to Editorial Correspondence via History in the Action links (see the EM Knowledge Base section on Storing external emails). 3. The traffic light colours next to your Editorial tab Main Menu folders let you know when a submission needs your attention. Find out more in the EM Knowledge Base. We are grateful to all of you for engaging with the implementation process, and for sharing your feedback with us. A reminder that there are weekly drop-in and Q&A sessions about Editorial Manager, including in the Australia/New Zealand time zone; learn more and sign up. You can also send us your queries and comments at any time by contacting the Support Team or via Slack.

a. Using Editorial Manager/Convey to collect author Declarations of Interest demo and Q&A sessions The Research Integrity and Cochrane Support teams recently ran webinars on how to use Editorial Manager/Convey to collect authors DoIs. The first part was a 30-min presentation by Stephanie Boughton, Cochrane Research Integrity Editor, followed by a 20-min Q&A session. Click here for a recording of the session. Detailed guidance for MEs on how to use Editorial Manager/Convey and the slides from the session are also available on the CoI Portal. b. Convey queries If authors contact you with any queries about Convey, the new Declaration of Interest management system integrated with EM, please forward queries to Cochrane Support. Cochrane Support are happy to resolve any author queries, and this also helps to keep track of any issues authors are experiencing with the new system. One known issue is that the email to authors references the global manuscript ID for the review, rather than the title. You can see this information in EM, under Details. This is a reference similar to, but not the same as, the manuscript number.
We are working with Convey to try to get the title included in emails instead. In the meantime, as mentioned, please feel free to refer any authors to Cochrane Support and we will follow up.
If you use a protocol template when starting a new review, please ensure it is named according to the naming convention explained in the Archie Knowledge Base. This will ensure that any new reviews registered in Editorial Manager, will open with the correct template when EM sends the message to RevMan and Archie to create the title. If you have any questions about review templates, please contact Support.

7. Knowledge translation: Engaging stakeholders
Working with stakeholders makes our work more relevant and useful for end audiences and increases the reach and ultimate impact of our Cochrane Reviews. This recently added page presents a Six-Step Stakeholder Engagement Framework which is one way of thinking about working with stakeholders.
8. Resources and support for using Risk of Bias 2
The Methods Support Unit would like to remind MEs that a wide variety of resources related to using RoB 2, including Editorial Checklists, is available on the Cochrane Methods website. For any queries on protocols or reviews using RoB2, please seek input directly from the Methods Support Unit (MSU) in the first instance, and they will work with you until your CRG feels confident at assessing protocols and full reviews themselves. When review authors have completed their RoB2 assessments in the Excel tool, this can then be sent to MSU to check and provide feedback before write up begins. The MSU will work with CRGs until you feel confident performing these checks. MSU will always be on hand for any further support or queries.
