Cochrane Learning: free to review authors

You recently began work on your Cochrane Review. It’s a good time to highlight some learning opportunities that you may find useful.

Cochrane Interactive Learning

As a Cochrane Review author, you have free access to Cochrane Interactive Learning. This online course provides over 15 hours of self-directed learning on how to conduct a systematic review of interventions. The course is also available in Spanish

You may have already looked at Module 2: Writing the review protocol. The remaining modules each cover a different stage of the systematic review process and include a page on ‘what to include in your protocol’.

Cochrane Training website

The Cochrane Training website hosts a large number of learning resources, including the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. It is essential to refer to the Handbook as you prepare your protocol. One of the first things Cochrane editors and peer reviewers look for when assessing your protocol, is whether you have followed Handbook guidance.

We also have resources relevant to other types of evidence synthesis, such as diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) reviews, systematic reviews of prognosis studies and qualitative evidence synthesis.

Cochrane Learning Live

Cochrane Learning Live is our live online webinar series, featuring expert speakers on a wide range of topics. Our archive includes over a hundred recordings of webinars and other learning events.

We hope you find our learning resources interesting and useful. Don’t hesitate to contact Cochrane Support with any technical issues or general queries on our learning resources.

Best wishes,

Cochrane Learning Team
